Pins and needles is a sign that some part is not working how it needs to . If in doubt take a break and relax a little in child’s pose.
jennyinwaiting | January 13, 2010 at 1:59 am
I often find that staying in these positions for as long as the guys in the videos, after a long day university & cycling, the part(s) of my body holding my weight start to go numb and I sometimes even get pins & needles. When this happens, should I just ignore it? or take a break and relax a little in child’s pose or mountain pose?

Yes breathing is a pretty large ( Huge ) topic.
I have been to Pranayama workshops where the teacher has had the class do a series of chest opening exercises. So that in the supported Pranayama the Lung hits the very top of chest cavity where lung can never touch and expands the chest from the inside out. We will have a full 70 Min Pranayama class released soon U can c the first 10 mins in our channel here. I think there is more than one opposing field of opinion on breathing. Namaste

wow this guys are so cute mmm. I should practice yoga more ofthen.
cspace1234nz | January 13, 2010 at 2:50 am
Good answer, thanks.
I have another question.
So many of the videos and many books put emphasis on diaphragmatic breathing keeping the abdomen quite still but breathing only into the area of the lower ribs or teach breathing quite fully into the abdomen (which is really not diaphragmatic breathing at all of course) virtually bypassing the ribcage, either way, they tend to avoid breathing fully into the chest.
Not sure what my question is but would appreciate your thoughts on this.
